Cooling Tower: Quencher

System for the cooling of the smoke through vaporized air

The smoke to be cooled, enter in the upper part of the tower where it is stabilized. Subsequently they catch up the area of vaporization nozzles where it will be washed with vaporized water through compressed air. For a finer control of the final temperature, in order to guarantee the precise control of the temperature, it is necessary an other stage with ambient air for a precise calibration between capacity of air, compressed air and water spray. This system is controlled in automatic thanks to a software and PLC.
